On the one hand, Cafection’s reverse French press system delivers freshness and quality taste expected from a traditional coffee plunger brewing process. On the other, it bypasses some of the drawbacks of a regular French press coffeemaker.
Indeed, while coffee extraction time is greatly shortened with the vacuum process (around 30 seconds instead of 4 minutes), the use of a filter paper traps fine particles and cafestol (oil causing bad cholesterol), thus producing a healthier, brighter, sweeter and fruitier cup of coffee.
