To ensure the safest possible environment, make sure anyone taking care of the brewer applies the following guidelines:

  1. Before doing anything, wash your hands thoroughly with soap for at least 20 seconds. If you do not have access to soap and water, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
  2. Clean the machine and its surroundings as follow:
    1. Pre-clean heavily soiled surfaces.
    2. Use an All-purpose Cleaner like Lysol. Refer to EPA approved products to kill COVID-19.
    3. Clean the screen: Spray product on a microfiber cloth and wipe the screen. DO NOT SPRAY DIRECTLY ON THE SCREEN AND USE PRODUCTS WITH HIGH LEVELS OF ALCOHOL.
    4. Everywhere else, hold container 6 to 8 inches from surface and spray until wet.
    5. To sanitize hard non-porous surfaces not in contact with food, let the product stand for 2 minutes.
    6. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
    7. Repeat at least twice a day.

Any part you remove and clean under running water should be air-dried overnight in a safe environment.
